Wine Description & Tasting Notes
A little sassy, full of vitality and a touch of boldness, each of the wines in the Clementine range has much in common with their namesake, the winemaker’s adorable daughter, Clementine ‘Minnie’ Logan.
This wine is pure joy, it burns with the amber hues of a sunset and epitomises la dolce vita. This vibrant wine stands up well to bolder dishes with flavours of the Ottoman Empire, e.g., Greek octopus, Moroccan chickpeas. Also great with a roast and caramelised root veg – try going for celeriac, fennel or Jerusalem artichoke.
A great intro orange wine. The orange colour is a result of fermenting the pinot gris on its own skins, providing the stunning colour, delicious texture and crunchy tang.
Nose: spiced pears and red apples with notes of fennel and rose petals
Palate: Juicy and fresh with flavours of cider apples, meyer lemon and cranberries. subtle and soft tannins are also present.
Food Pairings: Delicous on its own but loves to be paired with a variety of foods from fried foods to tacos to BBQS
