From Smith & Hook comes this Central Coast, California, Cabernet Sauvignon. Planted on former horse and Cattle ranches near the rugged Pacific shoreline. Smith and Hook have been specialising in this big & bold Cabernet Sauvignon for 40 years. Crafted from select vineyard lots and aged in french oak barrels. Ideally aged for 8-10 years or decanted for a while before enjoying.
Nose:Vibrant aromas of dark fruit and black currant with hints of sweet spice and toasty oak.
Palate: Full bodied and full of flavor with a round viscous mouthfeel backed with concentrated tannic structure carry through to a smooth finish.
Food Pairings: A delighfully intense experience on its own but loves to be paired with a juicy ribeye steak or venison stew.
