Wine Description & Tasting Notes
Emile Beyer Gewürztraminer Alsace Tradition is an inviting wine, made from Organic Gewürztraminer grapes.
The grapes are handpicked quite late, in October, from vineyards planted on limestone soils. After a gentle pressing and light cold settling, the wines are fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on the fine lees for four months and no malolactic fermentation is carried out.
Nose: Floral aromas of rose petals and Lychee nuanced with orange blossom and hints of spicy ginger
Palate: Off dry, full and rich with balancing acidity that carries the tropical fruit and spicy notes to a lingering finish.
Food Pairings: Rich patés, Foie Gras and strong cheeses. Pairs particularly well with spicy Asian cuisine.
