Wine Description & Tasting Notes
Maestro wines are made by the collaboration of two Maestros (Professional) winemakers: Beppe, the winemaker in Apulia, who makes the vinification process according to our directions and Marco, our brand new winemaker, who following our expectations, spends a good amount of time in the Apulia region to select the best grapes which are enhanced with oak refinement and blending.
We nickname this a baby Amarone. Its not aged for as long as an amarone nor is it the same grape varieties but the appassimento method of wine making has given this wine the similar dried fruit characters and similar levels on intensity too!
