Wine Description & Tasting Notes
Sharpham Wine have been carefully nurturing and crafting English wines from their beautiful Dart Valley vineyards for the past 40 years, and strive to continue this legacy and tradition in their new home at Sandridge Barton.
The Sandridge Barton vineyard was planted in 2008, 3 kilometres downriver from the original vineyard on the Sharpham Estate, and these vines now produce over 80 tonnes of grapes a year from 32 acres.
There’s never a bad time to drink rosé. At Sharpham in 2022 they blended Pinot Noir with Pinot Meunier for this characterful rosé.With 6 months ageing in stainless steel tanks, the flavours harmonised and made this an English rosé not to be missed!
Nose: Bright freshly picked summer berries notes of strawberries and Raspberries
Palate: Dry, and refreshing with flavours of berrries and cream
Food Pairings: The perfect rosé for enjoying with friends but pairs beautifully with charcuteries and soft cheeses and BBQS!
