Portugal vs Spain
Rivals for centuries, but did you know interest in Portuguese wine is on the up and now measuring up to Spain’s diverse range of wines?
Spain has the champagne equivalent Cava that gives life to any tapas evening. However, Portugal has Port, a style of wine that is unmatched, and desired worldwide, where many try to recreate but can only imitate.
Spain also has the world-famous Tempranillo wines from Rioja, but Portugal has the powerful and full-flavoured Touriga Nacional from the Douro Valley.
Join us as we go on a journey through these neighbouring countries in a versus-style tasting. Both countries produce signature styles and wines full of character, so will we find a winner?
We’ll taste through a selection of 6 wines with a curated selection of Charcuterie and cheeses*

An Evening of Sparkles
Have you ever wondered what’s the difference between Prosecco and Champagne other than the prices?
Have you also wondered why English sparkling is being talked about so much over the last 5-10 years?
Let us answer all your bubbly questions in one evening as Arthur will guide you through 6 Sparkling wines of varying styles, price points and from different countries.
From French Champagne (is this even the origin?) to one of the bestselling wines from Italy, Prosecco. We’ll also check out a few from the UK as English Sparkling wines become more revered worldwide, but also wines made using ancient techniques that are coming back into fashion.
We’ll be serving a specially curated cheese and charcuterie board* with this tasting and perhaps help you find the perfect bottle to celebrate with over the festive period!
